Homeowner Terms of Use

The service and our role
GuildWise and 518 Bathrooms are estimate and contractor marketplace services operated by Daigneault Group LLC. We are not the contractor performing your work, do not supervise construction and are not a party to your agreement with a contractor. You must be at least 18 and authorized to submit the project information.
Indicative estimates
Estimates are nonbinding planning ranges generated from the information you provide and available pricing assumptions, including AI-assisted analysis. They are not an inspection, appraisal, guarantee, offer to perform work or substitute for a contractor’s site visit and written quote. Actual cost may differ because of site conditions, scope, materials, permits, code requirements and market conditions. No savings, final price, contractor availability or project outcome is guaranteed.
Your request and contractor contact
Submitting the required authorization permits us to prepare and email your estimate and share your project with up to 10 participating contractors once the estimate is prepared. Not every project will be listed and not every request will receive a contractor response. Contractors pay for eligible project access. Your authorization covers responses to your project by phone and email, not unrelated marketing or automated calls or SMS. You can withdraw your request through Remove My Job or by contacting support@guildwise.io.
Remove My Job / withdraw your project
Use the Job ID shown with your estimate at Remove My Job. We send a verification link to the email address already associated with that job; entering a Job ID alone does not remove it. After email verification and your explicit confirmation, the project stops being available in the marketplace and GuildWise stops further lead distribution. We notify organizations that previously purchased access that the project has been withdrawn and instruct them to stop further outreach.
Withdrawal does not retroactively undo disclosures or let us recall information contractors already received. It is not complete data deletion. Limited records may remain for consent evidence, transaction history, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Existing purchasers may retain appropriate historical records subject to the project-specific use and stop-contact restrictions. Contact support for other privacy requests or unwanted contact.
Choosing a contractor
You select and contract directly with a contractor. Independently check licensing where required, insurance, references, permits, scope, payment milestones and warranties. Platform approval is not a guarantee of workmanship, insurance, licensing or suitability. Do not rely on a platform estimate as a firm construction contract.
Information and acceptable use
Provide accurate information and upload only material you have permission to share. You grant us permission to process and share that material for the service you requested. Do not submit illegal content, impersonate another person, probe unauthorized accounts or misuse the service. We may restrict abusive or fraudulent requests.
Service issues
Tell us promptly about inaccurate information, unwanted contact or access problems at support@guildwise.io. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to limit. New York law governs these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
